Pride Month: LGBTQIA+ Allyship in the Berkshires

Pride Month is a celebratory time here at The Pass where the collective team comes together to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community in the Berkshires. Throughout the month of June, we are excited to partner with Berkshire Pride, a non-profit organization committed to providing safe spaces and events for the LGBTQIA+ community in the region.

A Message from Our Retail General Manager

“We celebrate the inclusive nature of cannabis, and it is part of our mission to provide safe and welcoming spaces where members of the cannabis-loving community can come together and thrive not only during Pride Month, but all throughout the year,” said Blake Gurgul, retail general manager. “All are welcome here at The Pass and our employees and customers are excited to be a part of our community.” 

Celebrating Pride Through Merch and Donations

LGBTQIA+ allyship is a year-round commitment, but to spotlight its importance this June, The Pass is dedicated to making this special time of year a place for celebration, acknowledgement and inclusion.

Through new Pride merch including super-cool cotton totes and tees, plus limited-edition Pride Peach gummies in a rainbow-colored mix, we will be donating a portion of all Pride sales in June to Berkshire Pride.

Pride Peach Gummies

The Pass team wanted to create some first-rate items for people to show off their pride including our brand new Pride Peach gummies. A meticulous production process, all peach gummies are made with natural dyes from red beet, annatto, turmeric, green tea, gardenia, spirulina, and purple sweet potato powders. Each natural flavor is virtually tasteless to the actual gummy, but this collection of ingredients made it so all the gummies put together make a vibrant rainbow.

Educational Events Hosted by Berkshire Pride

In addition to the month-long celebration, Berkshire Pride will host two educational events on June 10th and June 24th at The Pass dispensary in Sheffield where they will share information about their organization and host giveaways. 

The Importance of LGBTQIA+ Allyship

The LGBTQIA+ community is vital to the culture of the Berkshires, and The Pass is excited to take part in Pride – a time of allyship, humanitarianism, education, action, and especially, celebration.
